I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and relocated to Seminole County, Florida at the age of one. I was drawing in a variety of media at a young age,  but began to study art in earnest during High School, where I was made to focus on pencil drawing and the basics of light and form, still-life and figurative forms. After High School, I attended Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. I continued to study drawing and painting while exploring a variety of other materials and disciplines including video, carpentry, metal working and History. I graduated in 2008 and received a BFA in General Sculptural Studies.
